- Like I said in an another post, I have been a huge fan of Final Writer
- and always talk it up and have convinced several other Amiga users to
- purchase it. With Final Writer R3 and above I felt I had as powerful a
- program as Word to work with.
-
- But when I had visited Softwood's website and saw that they were coming
- out with a Windows 95 version, I thought, "Figures, now they will get
- into that market and leave the Amiga high and dry." Now that may not be
- the case in the near future, but we all have seen and heard the story,
- "no, no ,no we will continue to support the Amiga." By 1996 Amiga
- users are beginning not to trust the word of the producers, and promised
- features and upgrades never materialize.
-
- But when the Amiga users cry out with money in hand for the product they
- have dreamed for, the producer says "ya get what you pay for". i.e.
- Cheap upgrades for small improvements.
